J. Linwood Cobb

Willow Spring, NC: Mr. James Linwood Cobb, age 78, of 1347 Two Claude Road died Monday, February 6, 2012, at his residence. Funeral service will be 11:00 AM Wednesday, February 8, 2012, at Pleasant Grove Baptist Church. Officiating will be Rev. Steve Morris.  Burial will follow in the church cemetery.             Mr. Cobb was born August 21, 1933 in Harnett County to the late George Branton and Thelma Weeks Cobb. He was also preceded in death by his wife, Martha Jane Glover Cobb; and sister, Dorothy C. Campbell. He was a farmer.             Surviving include Daughter & Son-in-Law, Lynn Cobb & Randy Clifton of Willow Spring; Son & Daughter-in-Law, Jamie B. & Amy Cobb of Snow Hill; Grandchildren, Ashton Jane Cobb and Branton James Cobb; Sister, Georgia C. Adams of Four Oaks; and Brothers, Jesse Cobb of Angier; Sherrill Cobb of Spivey’s Corner; and Gerald “Pop” Cobb of Benson.             Family will receive friends at Rose & Graham Funeral Home in Benson from 6:00PM to 8:00PM Tuesday, February 7, 2012.
