JoAnne Coats Hairr

Coats, NC: Ms. JoAnne Coats Hairr, age, 71, passed away on Sunday, June 16, 2024 at Betsy Johnson Hospital in Dunn, NC, surrounded by her loving family. The Family will hold private services. 

Ms. Hairr was born on July 29, 1952 in Harnett County, NC to the late Ruben Otis and Nancy Jane West Coats. She was preceded in death by her brothers, Jerry Ruben Coats, and Larry Thomas Coats, sisters, Grace McLeod and Jean Pleasant. Ms. Hairr was a retired housing coordinator with Harnett County Housing Department. She attended Central Baptist Church in Dunn, NC. She loved her dog, Winston, her cat, Ozzy, gardening and working in her yard. 

Survivors include her sisters, Barbara Nash of Raleigh, NC, Sue Pope of Dunn, NC, and Patsy Coats of Coats, NC; many loving nieces and nephews.
