John Bailey, Jr.

Benson, NC:  Mr. John William Bailey, Jr., age 63, of 294 Turlington Drive, died Wednesday, May 8, 2019 at Wake Medical Center in Raleigh.  A Memorial Service will be held Monday, May 13, 2019, 11:00AM  at Rose & Graham Funeral Chapel in Benson.  Rev. Donnie Barbour will officiate.              Mr. Bailey  was born July 15, 1955 in Wake County to John William, Sr., and Sunny Wooten Bailey.  Mr. Bailey was a superintendent with Muter Construction in Zebulon, NC.  He enjoyed fishing, NASCAR, the beach, repairing classic cars and spending time with his children and his grandchildren.                Surviving in addition to his parents include, wife, Ann Whittington Bailey; sons, John William Bailey, III, and wife, Brynna; and Lane Edward Bailey; grandchildren, Juliana, Liam, Jessica and Josilyn; brothers, Wayne Bailey, Brian Bailey and Dale Bailey; step-children, Jeff Stanley and wife, Terry; and Kristina Creswell and husband, Danny; step-grandchildren, Mason, Waylon and Sawyer; many nieces and nephews.       The family will receive friends at Rose & Graham Funeral Home in Benson immediately following the memorial service.               Flowers are welcomed; however, memorials may be made to American Heart Association/American Stroke Association, P.O.
