Johnny Allen

Four Oaks, NC: Mr. Johnny Daniel Allen, age 68, of 2444 Parkertown Road went home to be with the Lord Monday, January 27, 2020 at the SECU Hospice House in Smithfield. A Celebration of Life will be held 1:00 PM Friday, January 31, 2020 at Rose & Graham Funeral Chapel in Four Oaks. Revs. Gerald Blake and Raymond Taylor will officiate. Burial will follow in the Johnny Allen Family Cemetery at the home.                   Mr. Allen was born on January 24, 1952 in Johnston County to the late Ernest G. and Myrtle Irene Parker Allen. He was preceded in death by his wife, Sherry Thomas Allen, daughter, Tammy Allen, granddaughter, Chelsea Mae Lee and several brothers and sisters.  Mr. Allen was a commercial truck driver and member of Anchor of Truth Apostolic Church.  A spirit that has shown brighter than the sun as it would rise or the moon shine has gone out.  A father, a brother and a pa to many.  Johnny Allen has gone to be with his wife Sherry in our Father's Home. He left us way too soon, but will never be forgotten.  His love for family, "Farmall his fur buddy", pulling Farmall Tractors and his Tractor Club Family will go with us always. He will be greatly missed.                  Surviving include children; Cynthia Whaley and fiancé' John Novotny of Kentucky; Kim and Donovan Guignard of Four Oaks, Renee and David Sanders of Four Oaks; Jesse Jr. and Theresa Lee of Four Oaks; 8 grandchildren and 6 great-grandchildren; brother, Moses Allen of Four Oaks; many  nieces and nephews.             The family will receive friends from 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM, Thursday, January 30, 2020  at  Rose and Graham Funeral Home in Four Oaks and other times at the home.
