Johnny Strickland

Garner, NC: Mr. Johnny Wayne Strickland, age 66, of Garner died Wednesday, February 27, 2019 at his residence. Memorial services will be held Tuesday, March 5, 2019 at 7:00 PM in Holy Cross Lutheran Church, 2920 NC-42, Clayton, NC 27520.      Mr. Strickland was born on February 14, 1953 in Wake County to the late David Hunter and Aquilla Evans Strickland.  He was preceded in death by his parents, and his brother, Steven Kelly, Sr..  Mr. Strickland proudly served in our nations military in the Air Force for 4 years and in the National Guard for 12 years. He was self employed working on automotive upholstery.      Surviving include brothers, Glenn Strickland and Bill Strickland; nieces, Merrily Boyd and husband, Michael, Joy Strickland, and Brandi Renauir and husband, Kevin; nephew, Steven Kelly, Jr.; great-nephews, Gibson Boyd, Oliver Strickland, Hunter Renauir, Bradon Renauir, and William Renauir; and great-niece, Oakley Strickland.
