Josephine Parrish

Four Oaks, NC: Mrs. Josephine Wood Parrish, age 89, died Friday, January 25, 2019, at Carillion Assisted Living in Raleigh. Funeral service will be held 2:00 PM Monday, January 28, 2019, at Rose & Graham Funeral Chapel in Four Oaks. Pastor Eddie White will officiate. Burial will follow at Hills of The Neuse Memory Gardens in Smithfield.     Mrs. Parrish was born on January 8, 1930, in Johnston County to the late Worth E. and Vonnie Allen Wood.  She was preceded in death by her husband, Raeford "Pete" Parrish; her grandson, James Gregory Cobb; and brothers, Delman Wood and Waylon Wood.  Mrs. Parrish retired from Fieldcrest. Surviving include her daughter and son-in-law, Shearon P. and James Cobb of Raleigh; grandchildren, Angela Denmark and husband, Brooks of Clayton, and Jennifer White and husband, Steve of Raleigh; great-grandchildren, James Robert "Jamie" White, Emma Charlotte White and Phyllis Anne Denmark; sisters, Alice Johnson, Shirley Wheeler, and Karen Wood; and several nieces and nephews.              The family will receives friends from 5:00 PM - 7:00 PM Sunday, January 27, 2019, at Rose & Graham Funeral Home in Four Oaks.    Condolences may be sent to the family at www.roseandgraham.com.
