J. Thurman Harper

Four Oaks, NC:  Mr. J. Thurman Harper age 91 of 10099 NC HWY 210 passed away Thursday, July 19, 2012.  Graveside Funeral Service will be 2:00PM Sunday, July 22, 2012, at Hills of The Neuse Memory Gardens, Smithfield. Officiating will be Rev. John Jernigan.    Mr. Harper was born in Johnston County on April 21, 1921 to the late J. R. & Anna Norris Harper.  He was a retired farmer. He was preceded in death by his Wife, Iva Beasley Harper.  Surviving include; Son & Daughter-in-law, Jackie & Linda Harper of Four Oaks; Granddaughter, Michelle Abernathy of Raleigh and Two Great-Grandchildren, Erica & Riley Abernathy of Raleigh. Family will receive friends at the home of Jackie & Linda Harper, 2805 Lassiter Road, Four Oaks, NC 27524 Arrangements by Rose & Graham Funeral Home in Four Oaks.
