Juanita Wynn

Four Oaks: Mrs. Juanita Grey Register Wynn, age 87, died Monday, May 13, 2019 at her residence. A memorial service will be held by the family 1:00 PM, Wednesday, May 15, 2019 at Four Oaks United Methodist Church in Four Oaks.  Officiating will be Rev. Joey Yow.                Mrs. Wynn was born on January 27, 1932 in Johnston County to the late Paul Edmond and Ruth Barbour Register. She was preceded in death by her husband, Gussie Wilson Wynn, Sr.; sister and brother-in-law, Wanda and Joe Parker; brothers, Charles Register and Jimmy Register; and grandchildren, Ashlyn Blair Wynn and Brantley Duane Wood. Mrs. Wynn worked for the Smithfield Herald, and then was a teacher assistant at Four Oaks School until retirement.  She was a member of Four Oaks United Methodist Church.                Survivors include her daughters, Susan Evans and husband, Victor of Benson; and Rebecca Wood of Carolina Beach; son,  Gussie Wilson "Gus" Wynn Jr.  and wife, Traci of Four Oaks;  grandchildren, Melissa Austin and husband, Shane, Victor Wesley Evans, Jr., Taylor Wood, Wil Wynn and wife, Morgan, Davis Wood, Jordan Lee Wynn and wife, Logan, Caitlyn Heckman and husband, Coty, and Jason Allen;  great-grandchildren, Tucker Shane Austin and Madelyn Grey Austin; niece, Paula Allen and husband, David.             The family will receive friends immediately following the memorial service at the church.               In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to Four Oaks United Methodist Church, PO Box 177, Four Oaks, NC 27524
