Judy Starling Allen

Four Oaks, NC: Mrs. Judy Starling Allen, age 78, of Raleigh Road went to be with her Lord and Savior on Thursday, January 25, 2024 at her residence surrounded by her loving family. Funeral Services will be 3:00PM Sunday, January 28, 2024 at Barbour’s Chapel Advent Christian Church in Four Oaks. Burial will follow in the Massengill Family Cemetery in Four Oaks.  Rev. Rodney Britton and Mr. Rodney Barbour will officiate.  

Mrs. Allen was born on September 30, 1945 to the late Earl and Lois Bass Starling. She was preceded in death by her sister, Joyce Norris; brother, Tommy Starling. Mrs. Allen retired as a Licensed Practical Nurse after 30 years. She was a homemaker, avid gardener, and the best Wife, Mother, Granny, and Great-granny. Mrs. Allen was a member of Barbour’s Chapel Advent Christian Church where she sang in the choir, and served as the church treasurer. 

Survivors include her husband of 62 years, William Larry Allen; children, David Allen and wife, Paula of Four Oaks, Beth Langston of Four Oaks; grandchildren, Jason Allen, Sarah Langston, Jessica Dixon and husband, Tyler; great-grandchildren, Cayden Tart, Claire Dixon, and Allen Dixon due June of 2024; sisters, Carol Renfrow of Smithfield, Phyllis Ward and husband, Jerry of Smithfield; several nieces and nephews; beloved dog, Molly.  

The family will receive friends from 1:45PM to 2:45PM on Sunday, January 28, 2024 at Barbour’s Chapel Advent Christian Church prior to the service and other times at the home.
