Judy Barbour

Benson, NC: Mrs. Judy Byrd Barbour, age 75, passed away with her loving daughter by her side on Saturday, September 26, 2020 and her residence. Family will hold a memorial service at a later date.             Mrs. Barbour was born on June 1, 1945 to the late Hezzy and Eleazar Grimes Byrd. Along with her parents she was preceded in death by her husband, Faison Lee Barbour; son-in-law, Broderick Clayton. Mrs. Barbour after her retirement gardening and flowers were her passion.            She is survived by her daughter, Amy Barbour Clayton of Raleigh; granddaughter, Amber Leigh Graham and husband, James of Honolulu, Hawaii; grandson, Julian Barbour of Raleigh; great-grandson, James Graham; sisters, Tammy Rose Byrd, Janet Leigh Byrd both of Benson and Patsy Byrd Guthrie and husband, Jerry of Garner; brother, Charles Don Byrd and wife, Jean of Benson; niece, Kristen Byrd Cone; and nephew, Charles Don Byrd Jr.; and several cousins.             In accordance with NC-COVID-19 guidelines, the funeral home suggests practicing social distancing guidelines and the three W's: wait, wash, and wear a face covering.             The family appreciates your thoughts and prayers.
