Judy Keene

Four Oaks, NC:  Mrs. Judy Carol Allen Keene, age 68, of 8000 US HWY 301 S.  passed away on Wednesday, October 3, 2018 at UNC Hospital in Chapel Hill   Funeral Service will be 2:00PM, Sunday, October 7, 2018 at Unity Advent Christian Church, 304 Unity Church Road, Four Oaks, NC 27524.  Revs. Jason Hudson and Derry Allen will officiate. Burial will follow in the Keene Family Cemetery, Four Oaks, NC.               Mrs. Keene was born July 31, 1950  in Johnston County to the late Clarence and Lessie B. Stanley Allen.  She was also preceded in death by a sister, Janice Brame.  Mrs. Keene was a 1968 graduate of Four Oaks High School and worked at Sylvania.   She was a very loving and caring ministers wife serving alongside her husband. A team for over 45 years, she and Pastor Billy served and cared for the congregation of Unity Advent Christian Church where she served in many capacities. When not assisting her husband in their ministry, she was a very dedicated teacher's assistant at Four Oaks Elementary School.                   Surviving include her husband of 50 years, Rev. Billy B. Keene; sons and daughters-in-law, Wesley and Emily Keene and Jeremy and Michelle Keene all of Four Oaks; grandchildren, Jeremy Tyler Keene, Gavin Keene, Ella Keene and Owen Keene;  sisters and brothers-in law, Hilda and Larry Allen and Gloria Odell and Sam Baker; brothers and sisters-in-law, Derry and Ann Allen and Junior and Kathy Allen all of Four Oaks; brother-in-law, Wallace Brame of Raleigh; many nieces and nephews.             The family will receive friends 6:00 PM - 8:00 PM, Saturday, October 6, 2018  at Rose & Graham Funeral Home in Benson and other times at the home of Jeremy and Michelle Keene, 155 Oliver's Grove Road, Four Oaks, NC 27524.               Flowers are welcomed; however, memorials may be sent to the Back-Pack Program at Unity Advent Christian Church, 304 Unity Advent Christian Church 304 Unity Church Road, Four Oaks, NC 27524.
