Judy Adams Lee

January 18, 1947 — July 23, 2018

Mrs. Judy Adams Lee, age 71, of 444 Sandy Road died Monday, July 23, 2018, at her residence.  Judy was born January 18, 1947 in Dunn to the late Delma Adams and Bevie Wood Adams.  She was preceded in death by a baby brother who died during childbirth.  She was a 1965 graduate of Meadow High School and worked for Robin Hood Enterprises for 50 years prior to her retirement from office management in May 2015.      Survivors include her husband, Clarence Lee, Jr. who was Judy’s childhood friend, teenage sweetheart, and partner in parenting and life for over 50 years.  Judy is also survived by her daughters, Ginger Webster and husband, John Webster, of Four Oaks and Julie Lee-Jacobs and husband, Jake Jacobs of Fayetteville.  Survivors also include her beloved grandchildren Anna Webster, Sam Webster, and Zachary.  Judy is survived by her cousin who has been like a sister for life, Kay McLamb, and her husband, Glenn McLamb.      Judy and Clarence invested their lives into their family, and Judy’s family has truly been “everything” to her.  In addition to working outside the home full time, Judy loved to grow food and cook for her children and grandchildren.  Her favorite memories included having the family all together eating fresh vegetables from the garden.  She took the most pride in watching her children and grandchildren grow.  Her children and grandchildren always knew that Mama/Grandma was their biggest fan.       The family will receive friends at 444 Sandy Road, Four Oaks, Judy’s birth and home place, Wednesday, July 25, 2018, at 12:00 noon, followed immediately by funeral service at 1:00 PM at the same location.  Weather permitting, visitation and funeral will be outside on the farm.  If needed, due to weather, visitation and funeral will be indoors at the same address.  A private burial will follow in Roselawn Cemetery in Benson, NC.      In Lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to St. Jude’s Children’s Hospital at 501 St. Jude Place, Memphis, TN, 38105 (stjude.org) or SECU Hospice House Johnston at 426 Hospital Road, Smithfield, NC, 27577.      Arrangements by Rose and Graham Funeral Home in Benson.
