Judy Ann Snipes

Dunn, NC:  Ms. Judy Ann Jackson Snipes, age, 72, died Monday, November 25, 2019, at UNC Johnston Health in Clayton. Funeral Service will be 11:00 AM Wednesday, November 27, 2019, at Smyrna Original Free Will Baptist Church, Dunn, NC. Officiating will be Rev. Billy Nowell.  Burial will follow in the church cemetery.                           Ms. Snipes was born in Sampson County on December 19, 1946 to the late Ennis and Tempie Thornton Jackson. She was also preceded in death by her brothers, Landon Jackson and J. B. Jackson; and sisters, Rose Allen and Alene Tart.  Ms. Snipes retired from the textiles industry and then worked at Bowman Enterprises in Benson.  She was a member of Smyrna Original Free Will Baptist Church.              Surviving include her children, Kenneth Snipes and wife, Tina of Dunn and Johnny Snipes and fiancée, Angela Adkins both of Angier; grandchildren, Kenneth Wayne Snipes, Jr., Johnny Blake Snipes, and Caroline Brooke Snipes; brothers, Robert Jackson of Dunn, Ennis Ray Jackson of Hickory, and Rufus Jackson of Benson; several nieces and nephews.                The family will receive friends from 6:00 PM-8:00 PM, Tuesday, November 26, 2019, at Rose and Graham Funeral Home in Benson and other times at the home of Kenneth and Tina Snipes, 3061 Hodges Chapel Road, Dunn, NC 28334.               Arrangements are by Rose & Graham Funeral Home in Benson, NC.
