Kim Holmes

Coats, NC: Ms. Anita Kim Whittington Holmes, age, 56, of Coats died, Monday at her residence.  Funeral services will be 3:00PM, Friday at the Rose & Graham Funeral Chapel in Coats.  Burial will follow in Coats City Cemetery.  Rev. Stancil Baucom will officiate.   Ms. Holmes was born October 4, 1957 in Harnett County to Margie Capps Whittington of Coats and the late Billy Douglas Whittington.  Ms. Holmes was a graduate of Campbell University and taught school at Coats Elementary.  Ms. Holmes was a member of Pleasant Memory Baptist Church.         Surviving in addition to her mother include, Daughter, Stephanie Holmes of New York, Sister & Brother-in-law, Karen W. & Woody Barbour of Raleigh, Niece, Laina Barbour of Raleigh; Several Aunts, Uncles and Cousins of the Capps and Whittington families..         Family will receive friends from 6:00PM-8:00PM Thursday at Rose & Graham Funeral Home in Coats and other times at the home of Margie Whittington ,1742 Bill Avery Road, Coats, NC 27521.         Memorials may be made to Margie Whittington,  PO Box 62, Coats, NC 27521.
