Larry Virgil Stewart

Mr. Larry Virgil Stewart, age 74, of Bailey’s Crossroads Road died Tuesday, June 29, 2021 at Central Harnett Hospital in Lillington surrounded by his loving family. Funeral Services will be 11:00AM Friday, July 2, 2021 at Ebenezer Presbyterian Church in Coats. Officiating will be Elder Kevin Nelson. Burial will follow in the church cemetery.

Mr. Stewart was born February 1, 1947 in Harnett County to the late Grayden Virgil and Sally Ruth Lee Stewart. He was preceded in death by his sister, Linda S. Holden. Mr. Stewart was a man of faith, family and farmer of the land. Mr. Stewart was a member of Ebenezer Presbyterian Church where he served as an elder and deacon.

Surviving is his wife of 49 years, Polly Sue N. Stewart; son, Zachary Virgil Stewart and wife, Angie of Angier; grandchildren, Isaac Virgil Stewart and Ava Claire Stewart; sisters, Karen S. Morris and husband, Stan of Lexington, SC, Deborah S. Langdon and husband, Dess of Angier, Sabra S. Nelson and husband, Kevin of Dunn; several nieces and nephews.

Mr. Stewart will be available for viewing and you may sign the register book from 12:00PM to 5:00PM, Thursday, July 1, 2021 at Rose & Graham Funeral Home in Benson and the family will not be present.

The family will receive friends from 10:00AM to 10:45AM Friday, July 2, 2021 in the fellowship hall of Ebenezer Presbyterian Church prior to the service.
