Larry Tart

Benson:  Mr. Larry G. Tart, age 68, of 220 Adams Road, died Tuesday, September 3, 2019 at the SECU Hospice House in Smithfield. Funeral Service will be 11:00 AM, Saturday, September 7, 2019 at Smyrna Original Free Will Baptist Church.  Officiating will be Rev. Billy Nowell.  Burial will follow in the church cemetery.                Mr. Tart was born October 28, 1950 in Harnett County to the late Coy and Irene McLamb Tart.   He was preceded in death by  his wife, Gloria Strickland Tart and daughter, Amy Tart Hayes.    Mr. Tart worked for Eddie Wood Construction and was also a member of Smyrna Original Free Will Baptist Church.                Surviving are daughter and son-in-law, Tina T. and Kenneth Snipes of Benson; son and daughter-in-law, Chris and Kim Tart of Four Oaks; four grandchildren, Ethan Hayes, Caroline Snipes, Jeremy Tart and Jase Tart; sisters, Betty Lou Byrd, Sue Byrd and Doris Jean Parker all of Benson; Judy Barefoot of Newton Grove and Linda McLamb of Benson; brother, Jerry Tart of Dunn; many nieces and nephews.              The family will receive friends 6:00 PM-8:00 PM Friday, September 6, 2019 at Rose & Graham Funeral Home in Benson and other times at the home of Tina and Kenneth Snipes, 3061 Hodges Chapel Road, Dunn, NC 28334.             Condolences may be sent to the family at www.roseandgraham.com             Arrangements by Rose & Graham Funeral Home in Benson.
