Larry Wise, Sr.

Clayton, NC: Mr. Larry Wayne Wise, Sr., age 50, of 545 Ryans Lane died Sunday, November 4, 2012, at his residence. Memorial service will be 11:00AM Wednesday, November 7, 2012, at Brokenwing Fellowship, 3236 Hwy 50, Garner, NC. Officiating will be Rev. Charlie Carroll. Mr. Wise was born June 11, 1962 in Harnett County to the late Doyle Wise and Elsie Wheeler.  He retired from the U. S. Army where he served in the Persian Gulf War and Operation Iraqi Freedom.  Mr. Wise was a civil service employee with Tapestry Solutions.  Surviving include wife, Tawnya Yow Wise; Daughters, Valerie Wise of Cary and Victoria Wise of Clayton; Son, Larry Wayne Wise, Jr., of Greenville; Step-sons, Dylan Jacob Goodman and Carlee James Goodman, both of Clayton; Sister, Patricia Pope of Stanton, VA; Step-Sister, Linda Carlson of MN; and Step-Brothers, J. W. Jackson of Faison, Ricky Jackson of Dunn, and Donald Handy of MN. Flowers are welcomed; however, memorials may be made to American Red Cross or to one’s favorite charity.
