Leon Parker

Four Oaks, NC: Mr. Leon Elbert Parker, age 75,  of 1702 Parkertown Rd. died Thursday at Wake Medical Center in Raleigh.  Graveside Services will be 2:00PM Saturday at the Leon E. Parker Family Cemetery, 1702 Parkertown Rd. Four Oaks, NC. Officiating will be Elder Tony Parker. Mr. Parker  was  born in Johnston County on October 12, 1938 to the late Willie Elbert and Mary Jane Adams Parker.  He was a farmer of various crops. Mr. Parker also retired from Winn Dixie Warehouse and Hare Pipeline after many years of service to both companies. Surviving are wife, Edith H. Parker of Four Oaks; Daughter, Sharon Lynne Parker of Four Oaks; Sons, Bobby Ray Parker and James Leonard Parker, both of Four Oaks; Three Grandchildren, Kasey Marie Parker, Melinda Nicole Stewart, Justin Lee Stewart; Sister, Lorene Lee of Benson; Brothers, James Edward Parker of Four Oaks, Bill Joe Parker of Benson, Johnny Mac Parker of Four Oaks; Several Nieces and Nephews. The family will receive friends at Rose & Graham Funeral Home in Four Oaks 6:00PM - 8:00PM Friday.
