Lester Jones

Benson, NC: Mr. Lester Jones, age 73, of 3933 Benson Hardee Road died Monday, December 16, 2013, at his residence. Memorial Service will be 2:00PM Wednesday, December 18, 2013, at Rose & Graham Funeral Chapel. Officiating will be Rev. Scott Betts.      Mr. Jones was born August 23, 1940 in Carroll County, VA, to the late John Daniel and Susie Frances Wynne Jones.  He was also preceded in death by his wife, Mary Hiatt Jones, and a brother, Roy Chester Jones.  Mr. Jones was a forklift driver with Apex Lumber Company and was a member of Salem Baptist Church in Apex.      Surviving include children and spouses, Virginia Sue & Estul Johnson of Benson, Tommy Lee Jones of Willow Spring, Ricky Joe & Connie Jones of Willow Spring, and Billy Joe & Barbara Jones of Sanford; brothers, Jesse Jones of Mt. Airy, Chester Wiley Jones of Dobson, Joe Bill Jones of Texas, Bobby Jones of Mt. Airy and Randy Jones of Virginia; 12 grandchildren; and 10 great grandchildren.      The family will receive friends at Rose & Graham Funeral Home in Benson immediately following the memorial service.      In lieu of flowers; memorials may be made to Crossroads Church, P.
