Lois Bass

Four Oaks, NC: Mrs. Lois Tadlock Bass, age 84 died Wednesday September 26, 2018   in Asheville. Funeral Service will be held 3:00PM Saturday, September 29, 2018, at Mill Creek Christian Church, Bentonville.  Reverend Jerry Burton will officiate. Burial will follow in the Mill Creek Church Cemetery.      Mrs. Bass was born on April 29, 1934 in Union County to the late Henry Luther and Lola Brewer Tadlock.  She is preceded in death by her husband, Mr. Bobby Ray Bass and by son, Brian Ray Bass.  Mrs. Bass retired from  Bell South Telephone Company, Minshew and Rose & Graham Funeral Homes as a secretary. Surviving are her daughter and son-in-law, Sarah and Matt Leggat of Asheville; two granddaughters, Ruby and Nora Leggat; brother and sister-in-law, R.V. Tadlock and wife Faye of Summerfield, NC;  several nieces and nephews.   The family of Ms. Bass would like to acknowledge all of her well-loved "adopted" children. The family will receive friends from 6:00PM to 8:00PM Friday at Rose & Graham Funeral Home  in Four Oaks.
