Lois Tart

Four Oaks, NC: Mrs. Lois Haskett Tart, age 87, died Tuesday at Barbour Court Nursing and Rehab Center in Smithfield.  Funeral Services will be Friday, September 5, 2014, at 3:00 PM at Rose & Graham Funeral Chapel in Four Oaks, NC.  Officiating will be Rev. John Norman. Burial will follow in Four Oaks City Cemetery. Mrs. Tart  was  born in Lenoir County on September 20, 1926 to the late Clyde and Maybelle Smith Haskett. She was preceded in death by her first husband, Zeb Daughtry, a daughter, Carolyn Beard, and sisters, Margaret Lassiter, Frances Barnes and a brother, Carol Haskett. Mrs. Tart was a homemaker. Surviving are her Husband, Jarvis Tart of Four Oaks; Sister, Shirley Jones of Four Oaks; Step-Sons, William Thurman Tart, Jarvis Tart, Jr., Ricky Tart all of Coats; Step-Daughter, Janice Austin of Newton Grove; Several Nieces and Nephews; The family will receive friends at Rose & Graham Funeral Home 2:00 until 2:45 prior to the service.
