Lois Wilson

Smithfield, NC:  Mrs. Lois Hillers Wilson, age, 93 of 1312 S. Crescent Drive, died Saturday, September 7, 2019 at her residence. Funeral Service will be 2:00 PM Tuesday, September 10, 2019 at Rose & Graham Funeral Chapel in Benson, NC.  Officiating will be Rev. Brian Sutphin and Elder Dorothy Rhue.  Burial will follow in Roselawn Cemetery.                           Mrs. Wilson was born on August 6, 1926 in Virginia to the late Raymond Barrett and Nettie Sterling Hillers.  She was preceded in death by brothers, Shirley, Lennie and Guy and a sister, Emma.   Mrs. Wilson was a homemaker and member of Grace Assembly of God Church in Smithfield. She was also a former president of Women's AGLOW Ministry.                Surviving include her husband of 69 years, James E. “J.E.” Wilson, Jr.; children, Pam Hansen and Tom Lueer of Savannah, GA; James E. “Jim” Wilson, III. and wife, Robin of Smithfield, NC; Angela Keel and husband, Stuart of Port Charlotte, Florida; grandchildren, Ashley Williamson, Melissa Johnson, Rockford Wilson; two great-grandchildren, Ivy and Logan; many nieces and nephews.   The family will  receive friends from 12:30 PM - 1:45 PM, Tuesday, September 10, 2019, prior to the service at Rose & Graham Funeral Home, 301 W. Main Street, Benson, NC 27504.  Flowers are welcomed; however, memorials may be made to ones favorite charity.
