Lola Jean McGee Stephenson

Angier, NC: Mrs. Lola Jean McGee Stephenson, age 90, of 545 Greenleaf Road died Saturday, September 28, 2019 at UNC Johnston Health in Clayton, NC. Funeral Services will be 11:00AM Wednesday, October 2, 2019 at Friendship Baptist Church in Angier. Officiating will be Revs. Jerry Peck, Scott Betts and Timmy Blair. Burial will follow in church cemetery.             Mrs. Stephenson was born on December 22, 1928 in Johnston County to the late John A. and Lola Honeycutt McGee. She was preceded in death by her husband of 62 years, William Clem Stephenson; sisters and brothers, Euba McGee Byrd, Beulah McGee Stephenson, Delores McGee McLamb, J. A. McGee and Aldridge McGee. She retired from manufacturing and was a member of Friendship Baptist Church in Angier.                       Survivors include her daughters, Rhonda Kaye S. Jones and husband, Shane of Surf City; Sandra Faye S. Strickland and husband, Ronnie of Selma, and Amy Michelle Stephenson of Angier; son, William Vaughn Stephenson and wife, Vicki of Angier; grandchildren, Stephen Barbour and wife, Amy, Jeffrey Barbour, Kristen Pleasant, Kayla Strickland, Nanda Jones and husband, John, Seth McLamb and wife, Rachel; great-grandchildren, Hannah Barbour, Landon Barbour, Taylor Jones, Levi Jones, Jones McLamb; beloved sister-in-law, Idell Penny of Angier; several special nieces and nephews; her beloved special pet, Cooper.             Family will receive friends 6:00PM  until 8:00PM Tuesday, October 1, 2019 at Rose & Graham Funeral Home in Benson and other times at the home.              Condolences may be expressed to the family at www.roseandgraham.com              Arrangements are by Rose & Graham Funeral Home in Benson, NC.
