Lora Adams

Four Oaks, NC:  Mrs. Lora Jean Odem Adams, age 85, of 223 S. Main Street died Saturday, August 4, 2012, at the SECU Hospice House in Smithfield. A Graveside service will be 2:00PM Monday, August 6, 2012, at Bethel Free Will Baptist Church Cemetery. Officiating will be Rev. Randy Beasley. Mrs. Adams was born February 17, 1927 in Iowa to the late Albert and Olive Slocum Odem. She was also preceded in death by a son, Larry Stout. Mrs. Adams was the librarian in Four Oaks for 20 years and was a homemaker.  Surviving are Husband, Governor Adams; Daughter, Donna Maner of CA.; Step-Children, Ron Morgan of CA., and Debbie Stallon of Idaho; Sister, Helen Hoselton of CA; 12 Grandchildren; 14 Great Grandchildren; and 2 Great Great Grandchildren.. Family will receive friends at Rose & Graham Funeral Home in Four Oaks Monday from 12:30PM to 1:30PM prior to the service.
