L. Richard "Ricky" Wilkins

Benson, NC:  Mr. Leamon Richard “Ricky” Wilkins, age 55, of 6505 Raleigh Road died Friday, February 8, 2013, at his home. Funeral Service will be 4:00PM Sunday at Pleasant Grove Baptist Church, Willow Spring. Officiating will be Rev. Steve Morris.  Burial will follow in the Church Cemetery. Mr. Wilkins was born November 6, 1957 in Harnett County to the late Leamon Julius and Gladys Marie Gentry Wilkins.  He was an interior trim carpenter and a member of Pleasant Grove Baptist Church. Surviving are wife, Wendy Coats Wilkins; daughter & son-in-law, Summer & Cary Carroll of Willow Spring; grandson, Charley Carroll; sisters, Marie Lamm of Four Oaks and Elaine Stevens of Benson; and numerous nieces and nephews. The family will receive friends at Rose & Graham Funeral Home in Benson from 6:00PM to 8:00PM Saturday, February 9, 2013. Flowers are welcomed; however, memorials may be made to Hospice of Wake County, 250 Hospice Circle, Raleigh, NC  27607.
