L. Scot Barbour

Myrtle Beach, SC: Mr. L. Scot Barbour, age 53, died Sunday, March 11, 2012, at Hospice of Wake County in Raleigh.  A memorial service will be held at a later date in Myrtle Beach, SC.             Mr. Barbour was born May 15, 1958 in Wake County to Hilda Barnes Kirks of Raleigh and the late Charles Linnie Barbour.  Scot was a car and furniture salesman and loved golfing, football, and baseball.             Surviving, in addition to his mother, are Daughter, Kayla Brooke Barbour of Conway, SC; Brother, Clay Barbour of Wisconsin; Sister, Donna Marie Akelund of Raleigh; and Half-Brother, John Heavener of Virginia.
