Lucille Messer

Mrs. Lucille Hayes Messer, age 67 of 1788 Cleveland Road, Lot 4, died Wednesday, August 2, 2017.  Graveside Funeral Service will be 2:00 PM Friday at Hills of The Neuse Memory Gardens.  Revs. Jeff Hayes and Carol Davis will officiate.Mrs. Messer was born on November 28, 1949  in Johnston County to the late Lloyd and Edna Earl Strickland Hayes.  She was preceded in death by her sister, Kathy Hayes and a brother, Clifton Hayes. Mrs. Messer was a retired housekeeper with Johnston Memorial Hospital.Surviving are her husband of 30 years, Roy Messer; son, Billy Hayes; step-children, Amy Cowart, Tammy Messer and Stacy Messer; 10 grandchildren; sisters, Debra Heath, Sylvia Wall, Teresa Shelton and Linda Stephenson; brothers, Rayvon Hayes, Joseph Hayes and David Hayes; many nieces and nephews.The Family will receive friends 12:30 PM - 1:30 PM Friday prior to the graveside service at Rose & Graham Funeral Home in Four Oaks and other times at the home.Service Information
