Lucrecia "Lou" Ann Bass Jernigan

Mrs. Lucrecia “Lou” Ann Bass Jernigan, age 85, passed away on Wednesday, November 10, 2021 at her residence surrounded by her loving family. Funeral Services will be 3:00PM-Saturday, November 13, 2021 at Rose and Graham Funeral Chapel in Benson, NC. Entombment will follow in Roselawn Cemetery in Benson, NC. Mr. Randy Byrd will officiate.

Mrs. Jernigan was born on January 13, 1936 in Harnett County, NC to the late Andrew J. and Dollie McLamb Bass. She was also preceded in death by her husband Charles, and sister, Doris. In her early years Mrs. Jernigan worked for Data General, was a farmer, and was also a homemaker. She was a member of New Hope Christian Alliance Church, outside Angier, NC.

Surviving include her daughter, Gail Bray; son, Charles Jernigan and wife, Brenda; grandchildren, Jessica Knott and husband, Shane, Joshua Bray, Jacob Bray, and Heather J. Gregory; great-grandchildren, Carey Gregory, Jaxon Knott and Adalyne Knott; sister, Louise Daughtry; many loving nieces and nephews.

The family will receive friends 1:45PM-2:45PM- Saturday, November 13, 2021 prior to the funeral service at Rose & Graham Funeral Home in Benson, NC and other times at the home.
