Lucy Maye Parker

April 1, 1945 — December 10, 2016

Four Oaks:  Ms. Lucy Maye Hardee Parker age 71, of 106 East Allen Street went to be with the Lord Saturday at Wake Medical in Raleigh.  Funeral Service will be held 3:00 PM Tuesday December 13, 2016 at Barbour's Chapel Advent Christian Church in Four Oaks. Officiating will be Revs. Ricky Byrd, Vicki Parker Medlin and Billy Mobley. Burial will follow in the church cemetery.                 Ms. Parker was born April 1, 1945 in Johnston County to the late Roy B. and Eliza Toler Hardee. She was preceded in death by Ervin Junior Parker; brother, Billy Corbett; and a sister, Lucille Stewart. Ms. Parker retired from Burlington Industries. She was a member of Barbour's Chapel Advent Christian Church where she played the organ, sang in the choir and was also very active with the children's programs.             Surviving are daughter and son-in-law, Nichole and David Wilson of Four Oaks; four grandchildren, Steven Wilson, Kaylee Bradford, Jack Wilson, Luke Wilson; a twin sister, Faye Liver of Four Oaks; sisters-in-law, Vicki Parker Medlin, Linda Parker Barefoot, and Carolyn Parker Dixon; many nieces and nephews.             The family will  receive friends Tuesday prior to the service from 1:30PM to 2:45PM at the church and other times at the home.             Flowers are welcomed; however memorials may be made to Barbour's Chapel Advent Christian Church P. O. Box 357 Four Oaks, NC 27524.
