Angier, NC: Mr. Mack Edward Honeycutt, age 77, of 5889 Zack's Mill Road died Sunday at SECU Hospice House in Smithfield. Funeral services will be 3:00PM Wednesday at Rose & Graham Funeral Home Chapel in Benson. Officiating will be Revs. R. B. Parrish and Randy Beasley. Burial will follow in Friendship Baptist Church Cemetery in Angier.
Mr. Honeycutt was born July 9, 1938 in Johnston County to the late Claudius Vaden and Reba McGee Honeycutt. He was also preceded in death by daughter-in-law, Debbie Langdon Honeycutt; brothers, Kermit Honeycutt and Billy Honeycutt; and brother-in-law, Earl Benson. Mr. Honeycutt was a drywall contractor and an auto mechanic. He was a retired volunteer firefighter at 50-210 Fire Department.
Surviving include, wife, Edith Gray Byrd Honeycutt; sons, Ronnie Honeycutt and Michael Honeycutt, both of Angier; sisters & brother-in-law, Barbara Benson and Faye & Glenn Johnson, all of Angier; grandchildren and spouses, Brian & Laura Honeycutt, Tina & Jimmy Holmes, Mackenzie Honeycutt and Sara Honeycutt; and great granddaughter, Hope Honeycutt.
The family will receive friends at Rose & Graham Funeral Home in Benson from 6:00PM to 8:00PM Tuesday and other times at the home.
