Mack "Junebug" Moore, Jr.

Benson, NC:  Mr. Mack “Junebug” Moore, Jr., age 75, of 100 Helms Dogwood Road died Thursday., March 21, 2013, at his home surrounded by his loving family. Funeral Service will be 3:00PM Sunday, March 24, 2013, at Rose & Graham Funeral Chapel in Benson. Officiating will be Rev. Bobby Caudle.  Burial will follow in Roselawn Cemetery, Benson, NC. Mr. Moore was born September 17, 1937 in Harnett County to the late Lonnie Mack and Mamie Norris Moore.  He was also preceded in death by a granddaughter, Heather Moore; sister, Ruth Lee; and brothers, Gerald Moore, Tommy Moore, Jerry Moore, and J. W. Moore.  Mr. Moore was a brick mason, an avid farmer, and a lifetime sportsman. Surviving are wife of 55 years, Mable Poole Moore; daughter & son-in-law, Sue & Jimmy Evans of Roanoke Rapids; sons & daughter-in-law, Terry & Debbie Moore of Four Oaks, and Tim Moore and girlfriend, Deana Parrish, of Benson; grandchildren, Scott Barefoot & wife, Traci; Valerie Turnage & husband, Steven; and Jessica Moore & fiancé, Brian Lynch; great grandchildren, Bland Turnage, Graci Barefoot, Jenna Moore, Wilton Mack Barefoot, and Evan Lynch; sisters, Dot Ryals of Angier and Katie Tart of Benson;  brother, Ken Moore of Benson; several nieces & nephews; and several great nieces & nephews. The family will receive friends at Rose & Graham Funeral Home in Benson from 6:00PM to 8:00PM Saturday, March 23, 2013.
