Madge Pierce

Benson, NC:  Ms. Madge Creech Pierce, age 85, of Benson died Friday at Windsor Point Retirement Center in Fuquay Varina. Funeral services will be 11:00AM Thursday at Stoney Run Pentecostal Free Will Baptist Church. Officiating will be the Revs. Rick Kelly and Wayne Ellis.  Burial will follow in Hodges Chapel Pentecostal Free Will Baptist Church. Ms. Pierce was born on March 2, 1929 in Johnston County to the late James Hurston, Sr. and Lillie Benson Creech. She was a retired administrator of the Oasis Rest Home in Benson and Four Oaks.  Ms. Pierce was a member of Stoney Run Pentecostal Free Will Baptist Church. Surviving are; daughters and son-in-law, Sandra and Keith Buckner and Jacque Wheeler; brother, James H. "Jim" Creech; granddaughter, Lindsey Wheeler Spain, and husband, Benjamin; niece, Anna C. Yang; and foster-son, Timothy Gallop. The family will receive friends from 6:00PM-8:00PM Wednesday at Rose & Graham Funeral Home in Benson and other times at the home of Jacque Wheeler 208 Eastwood Drive, Benson, NC 27504. Flowers are welcomed, however, memorials may be made to Stoney Run Pentecostal Free Will Baptist Church, 12481 Harnett-Dunn Hwy, Dunn, NC 28334.
