Smithfield, NC: Mrs. Magdalene Narron Adams, age 82, passed away on Saturday, June 13, 2020 at the SECU Hospice House surrounded by her loving family. Funeral Services will be 2:00 PM-Wednesday, June 17, 2020 at the Rose and Graham Funeral Chapel in Four Oaks. Burial will follow in Oakland Heights Cemetery in Smithfield, NC. Revs. Allen Gupton and Jesse Wombles will officiate.
Mrs. Adams was born on January 19, 1938 in Johnston County to the late Barden and Helen Wilkins Narron. She was preceded in death by her husband, James Robert “Cub” Adams, daughter, Sheila Adams Lee and several brothers and sisters. She was a retired daycare worker with Kiddie College in Smithfield and was a member of Benson Church God.
Surviving include her daughters, Terrie Hartley and husband, Donnie of Coats; Linda Adams Foster of Selma; son, James Adams and wife, Connie of Four Oaks; grandchildren, Susan Ryals and husband, Kelly of Benson, Daniel Norris of Benson, Brittany Foster of Selma, Victoria Norris and husband, Charlie of Benson, Zachary Parker and fiancé, Melissa Riddle of Coats, Courtney Foster of Greenville, Lisa Bryant Theet of Clayton, and Jonathan Bryant of South Carolina; great-grandchildren, Brooke, Logan, Marlie, Carson, Jackson, Wyatt, Dwayne, Tristen, Laela, Nadia, Jonescia, Karmuria, Jayden, Jacynda and Saquan; several nieces and nephews.
Mrs. Adams will be available for viewing, and you will be able to sign the register book on Wednesday, June 17, 2020 from 9:00 AM-1:45 PM at Rose & Graham Funeral Home in Four Oaks. The family will not be present during this time.
