Magdalene Messer

Benson, NC: Mrs. Magdalene Stewart Messer, age 83, of 604 S. Ryals St. died Thursday, August 2, 2012 at her residence. A graveside service will be 2:00PM Sunday, August 5, 2012, at Harnett Devotional Gardens in Dunn. Officiating will be Rev. Randy Lucas. Mrs. Messer was born October 4, 1928 in Harnett County to the late Alton and Dolly McLamb Stewart. She was also preceded in death by her husband, Ollie James Messer, and a son, William Alton Messer. Mrs. Messer was homemaker and attended many churches. Surviving include, Granddaughter, Kayla Messer of Newton Grove; Nieces, Frances McPherson of Dunn and Dale Matthews of Clayton; and Nephew, Kenny Stewart of Dunn. The family will receive friends at Rose & Graham Funeral Home in Benson from 12:30PM to 1:30PM Sunday prior to the service.
