Margaret Smith Barbour

Clayton:  Mrs. Margaret Smith Barbour, age 89, of 2026 Quail Ct., died Wednesday, December 19, 2018, at Barbour Court in Smithfield.  Funeral Services will be held at 2:00PM, Saturday, December 22, 2018, at Rose & Graham Funeral Chapel in Four Oaks.  Rev. Mike Williams will officiate. Burial will follow in Maplewood Cemetery in Clayton.           Mrs. Barbour was born on September 26, 1929, in Johnston County to the late Clawson and Lula Yurgen Smith. She was preceded in death by her husband, James William Barbour and brothers, Roy Smith and Lee Smith, and sisters, Mattie S. Pollard and Marie Walker.  She was a member of West Clayton Church of God.             Surviving include her son and daughter-in-law, Ronnie and Orlena Barbour of Clayton and  six grandchildren, eleven great-grandchildren and five great-great-grandchildren.                The family will receive friends from 12:30 PM-1:30 PM at Rose & Graham Funeral Home prior to the funeral service and other times at the home.             Flowers are welcomed; however, memorials are appreciated.
