Margaret Ward

Garner: Mrs. Margaret Crowder Ward, age 81, of 125 HandyMan Lane died Tuesday at her residence. Funeral services will be 11:00AM Friday at Rose & Graham Funeral Chapel in Benson. Officiating will be Pastor Mike McAuley and Rev. Earl Ward. Burial will follow in Hills of the Neuse Memorial Gardens, Smithfield.             Mrs. Ward was born September 19, 1933 in Johnston County to the late Garland and Julia Pilkington Crowder.  She was preceded in death by her husband, Alfred Clayton Ward; sisters, Judy Crowder & Eva C. Ennis; and brother, Ray Crowder. Mrs. Ward retired from Northern Telecom with electronics and was a member of Unity Free Will Baptist Church.             Surviving are son and daughter-in-law, Alfred and Heather Ward of Willow Spring; daughter, Wanda Caudle of Garner; grandson, Chandler Caudle of Garner; sisters and brothers-in-law, Joyce Lamm of Four Oaks, Joyce Crowder of Clayton, Betty and Steve Pollard of Clayton, Johnnie and Don Brown of Archdale, Connie Jones of Willow Spring, Laura and Pete Sealey of Clayton, Billie and R. D. Radford of Disputanta, Virginia, Carol Barefoot of Raleigh; brother and sister-in-law, Larry and Kim Crowder of Angier; brother-in-law, T. G. Ennis of Angier:  several nieces and nephews.             Family will receive friends from 10:00AM - 10:45AM prior to the service and other times at the home.             Flowers are welcome or memorials may be sent to one's favorite charity.
