Marie Parker

Benson, NC:  Mrs. Marie McLamb Moore Parker, age 93, of 116 Golda Road died Friday, December 14, 2018 at her residence.  Funeral Service will be 2:00PM Sunday, December 16, 2018 at Rose & Graham Funeral Chapel in Benson.  Pastor John Denson will officiate.  Burial will follow in the Barefoot Cemetery, Benson.                Mrs. Parker was born December 7, 1926 in Johnston County to the late Clyde B. and Roaner Barefoot McLamb.  She was preceded in death by her husbands, Clarence B. Moore and Cletus Parker; son, Clarence Dale Moore; sisters, Gertrude Allen, Helen Baker and Berlene Turner; and a brother, James McLamb. She was a retired farmer and certified nursing assistant.                 Surviving include her daughter, Rhonda Butler and boyfriend, Tracy Cunningham; daughter-in-law, Darlene Moore; five grandchildren, nine great-grandchildren and one great-great-granddaughter; sister, Betty Tart; many nieces and nephews.             The family will receive friends 6:00 PM -8:00 PM Saturday, December 15, 2018 at Rose & Graham Funeral Home in Benson.             Flowers are welcomed; however memorials may be made to Alzheimer's Association Eastern North Carolina Chapter, ​5171 Glenwood Avenue, Suite 101, Raleigh, NC 27612.
