Garner, NC: Mrs. Marilyn Ennis Lee, age 67, of Wilton Meadow Drive died Thursday, October 22, 2020 at UNC Hospice House in Pittsboro. Graveside Services will be 2:00PM Sunday, October 25, 2020 at Lee’s Chapel Advent Christian Church Cemetery in Four Oaks. Officiating will be Rev. Horace Johnson.
Mrs. Lee was born August 2, 1953 in Virginia to the late Jack and Jewel Barbour Ennis. She was a teacher’s assistant at Vance Elementary School and retired after 25 years of service. Mrs. Lee was a loving wife, mother but her most favorite role was being, Nana.
Surviving are her husband of 47 years, Jimmy Lee of Garner; daughters, Candice Green and husband, Matthew of Spring Hope, Anna Latham and husband, Stephen of Garner; grandchildren, Walton Green, Nola Green and Ivy Latham; sisters, Sue Braswell and husband, Keith of Clayton, Jean Pope and husband, Ricky of Raleigh; several nieces and nephews.
The family will receive friends immediately following the graveside service.
In accordance with NC-COVID19 guidelines, the funeral home suggests practicing social distancing guidelines and the three W's: wait, wash, and wear a face covering.
