Benson, NC: Mrs. Marjorie Clifton Wallace, age 89, of B. H. Parrish Road, passed away on Wednesday, May 6, 2020 surrounded by her loving family at her residence. The Wallace Family will be holding a private service at Rose & Graham Funeral Home in Benson. Burial will follow in Sunset Memorial Park in Smithfield. Officiating will be Dr. Elvin Butts and Rev. Rhonda Hamilton.
Mrs. Wallace was born in Johnston County to the late Paul Lincoln and Floy Stephenson Clifton. She was preceded in death by her husband, Delbert Waverly Wallace; son, Delbert Keith Wallace, and a baby boy Wallace; brothers and sisters, P. L. Clifton, Emogene Lambert, Earthul Clifton, and Judy Smith. Mrs. Wallace worked in daycare with Kiddie Kountry and was a member of Friendly Chapel Pentecostal Free Will Baptist Church.
Surviving include her children, Christopher Wallace and wife, Sylvia of Benson, Debbie McLamb and Marty of Benson; daughter-in-law, Linda Wallace of Benson; grandchildren, Michelle Perry and husband, Bryant, David Wallace, Katelyn McLamb and Karen Spivey; great-grandson, Jacob Colton Perry; brother, Ellis Harold Clifton of Benson; several nieces and nephews.
Mrs. Wallace will be available for viewing, and you will be able to sign the register book on Friday, May 8, 2020 from 9:00 AM-1:00 PM at Rose & Graham Funeral Home in Benson. The family will not be present during this time.
