Mary Ellen Johnson Parker

Four Oaks, NC: Mrs. Mary Ellen Johnson Parker, age 85, passed away on Wednesday, October 30, 2024 at UNC Johnston Health in Smithfield surrounded by her loving family. Graveside Funeral Services will be 3:00PM- Friday, November 1, 2024 in the Four Oaks City Cemetery in Four Oaks. Elder Tony Parker will officiate.

Mrs. Parker was born in Johnston County, NC on December 16, 1938 to the late Joseph B. and Susie Ellen Johnson. She was preceded in death by her husband, Billy E. Parker; a grandson, Parrish Michael Parker; and a son-in-law, Ken Johnson. Mrs. Parker was a homemaker and a member of Oliver’s Grove Baptist Church. She always looked forward to the family beach trips to Surf City. 

Survivors include her children, Wayne Parker and wife, Sarah of Four Oaks, Randy Parker of Four Oaks, Trudy Johnson of Benson, Tracy Martin and husband, Mike of Angier, Michael Parker of Four Oaks, and Tammy Lee of Four Oaks; 8 grandchildren, 15 great-grandchildren; brother, Jerry B. Johnson of Four Oaks; sister, Linda Harrison and husband, Conroy of Apex; nieces and nephews.

The family will receive friends from 1:30PM-2:30PM, Friday, November 1, 2024 at Rose and Graham Funeral Home in Four Oaks. 

In lieu of flowers; memorials may be made to Victory Junction, 4500 Adam’s Way Randleman, NC 27317 or to one’s favorite charity.
