Mary MacPhail

Benson, NC: Mrs. Mary Sorrell MacPhail age 83 of Lowell, Massachuetts, formerly of Johnston County died Saturday at Cornerstone Nursing Home in Dunn. A Graveside Service will be 2:00PM Sunday at Hodges Chapel Pentecostal Free Will Baptist Church Cemetery, Benson. Officiating will be Rev. Bobby Caudle. Mrs. MacPhail was born February 11, 1929 in Johnston County to the late George and Mary Jones Sorrell. She was preceded in death by her Husband, Leonard MacPhail, and a Son, Johnny MacPhail.  Mrs. MacPhail was also homemaker. Surviving include her grandson, Johnny Harris of Plant City, Fl.; Granddaughter, Jayden Harris of Plant City, Fl.; Nephew & Wife, Bob and Glenda Nordan of Benson; Several great nieces and nephews. In lieu of flowers memorials may be made to one’s favorite charity. Arrangements by Rose & Graham Funeral Home in Benson.
