Mary Pate

Four Oaks, NC:  Mrs. Mary O'Neal Pate, age 84, died Saturday at Sunnybrook Rehab in Raleigh.  Graveside services will be 11:00AM Monday at Baptist Tabernacle Church Cemetery in Wendell. Officiating will be Rev. Eddie White. Mrs. Pate was born on May 19, 1930 in  Wake County to the late Abner and Mamie Winstead O'Neal.   She was also preceded in death by her husband, Henry Pate; sons, Albert and Jimmy Pennell; daughter, Mary P. Langston; and several brothers and sisters. Mrs. Pate was a homemaker and a member of Baptist Tabernacle Church. Surviving are sons, Bill Pennell of Arden, NC, Joseph Pennell of Raleigh; Five Grandchildren; Six Great-Grandchildren; Sister, Mamie Kirkley of Asheville; Brothers, Johnny O'Neal and Clinton O'Neal both of Surf City; Several Nieces and Nephews. The family will receive friends at Rose & Graham Funeral Home in Benson from 9:00AM to 10:00AM prior to the graveside service.
