Mary Wheeler

Four Oaks, NC:  Mrs. Mary Moore Strickland Wheeler, age 69, of Four Oaks died Friday, August 24, 2012, at Smithfield Manor.  Funeral services will be 2:00PM Monday, August 27, 2012, at Rose & Graham Funeral Home Chapel in Four Oaks.  Officiating will be Revs. Gene Dewitt and Jimmy Price.  Burial will follow in Barbour's Chapel Church Cemetery, Four Oaks. Mrs. Wheeler was born October 17, 1942 in Johnston County to the late Alton and Dellese M. Moore.  She was a homemaker.  Mrs. Wheeler was preceded in death by her husband, Chester Strickland; a son, David Benson; a sister, Brenda Moore; and a brother, Robert Moore. She is survivied by Sons & Daughters-in-law, Rayvon & Tiffany Strickland of Port St. Lucia, Florida and Chester & Heida Moore of Pine Level; Sister, Martha Strickland of Goldsboro;  Aunt, Ethileen Moore; Nine Grandchildren; and Four Great Grandchildren. Family will receive friends at the Rose & Graham Funeral Home in Four Oaks from 12:00PM to 1:30PM Monday prior to the service. Flowers are welcomed; however, memorials may be made to one's favorite charity.
