Mildred Gregory

Fuquay-Varina, NC: Mrs. Mildred Denton Gregory, age 87, of 63 Basin Street died Sunday, December 9, 2018 at Emerald Point Nursing Home in Lillington. Funeral services will be 11:00 AM Wednesday, December 12, 2018, at Hilltop Free Will Baptist Church. Officiating will be Rev. Jeff Jones. Burial will follow in Lakeside Memorial Gardens, Angier.                Mrs. Gregory was born October 6, 1931 in Harnett County to the late Charlie and Murlie Matthews Denton. She was preceded in death by her husband, James Lewis Gregory, her brother, Clyde Denton, and her sister, Gladys Faircloth. Mrs. Gregory was a homemaker and a member of Hilltop Free Will Baptist Church for over 60 years.             Surviving include; Sons & Daughters-in-law, Mickey & Virginia Gregory of Clayton and Keith & Brenda Gregory of Fuquay-Varina; Grandchildren, Mike Gregory, Holly and Bryant Lockamy, and Morgan and Chad Spears; and three great-grandchildren, Reagan Lockamy, Colt Lockamy, and Peyton Spears; several nieces and nephews.             The family will receive friends at Rose & Graham Funeral Home in Coats from 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM Tuesday, December 11, 2018 and other times at the home of Holly Lockamy, 941 Oak Grove Church Road, Angier, NC 27501.
