Monroe "M.P." Lee, Sr.

Coats, NC: Mr. Monroe Primroe “M.P.” Lee, Sr., age 90, died Sunday, September 23, 2012, at Johnson Better Care in Dunn. Funeral Service will be 11:00AM Wednesday, September 26, 2012, at Rose & Graham Funeral Chapel in Coats.  Revs. Jesse Mooney and Randy Beasley will officiate.  Burial will follow in Lee Family Cemetery, Benson.  Mr. Lee was born August 23, 1922 in Johnston County to the late Seth and Lenora Johnson Lee.  He was a car carrier driver for General Motors and was a farmer. Survivors are sons, Monroe Lee, Jr., and wife, Mary Rose, of Tallahassee, FL and David S. Lee of Mt. Dora, FL; 7 Grandchildren; 3 Great Grandchildren; brother-in-law, Carsie Denning of Coats; sister-in-law, Naomi Lee of Coats; and Several Nieces and Nephews. Family will receive friends at Rose & Graham Funeral Home in Coats from 6:00PM to 8:00PM Tuesday, September 25, 2012.
