High Point, NC: Mrs. Myrtle Hill Barbour, age 100, of Turtle Creek Drive, formerly of Four Oaks, passed away on Friday, November 8, 2019, at West Chester Manor in High Point. Funeral Service will be held 2:00 PM Monday, November 11, 2019, at Rose & Graham Funeral Chapel in Four Oaks. Officiating will be Rev. Ricky Byrd. Burial will follow at Barbour's Chapel Advent Christian Church Cemetery in Four Oaks.
Mrs. Barbour was born on November 3, 1919 in Johnston County to the late Willis Jasper and Lucy Bertha Langdon Hill. She was preceded in death by her husband, Earl Barbour; son, Dr. W. Earl Barbour; and eleven brothers and sisters. Mrs. Barbour retired from Hospital System as a supervisor of Environmental Services.
Surviving include her grandsons, Brett Barbour and wife, Christi of High Point, Steve Barbour of High Point; daughter-in-law, Sue Barbour of High Point; great-grandchildren, Ethan Barbour, Sarah Barbour, Blair Barbour, Devan Barbour; nieces and nephews.
The family will receive friends 1:00 PM -1:45 PM, Monday, November 11, 2019 prior to the service at Rose & Graham Funeral Home in Four Oaks.
Flowers are welcomed; however, memorials may be made to Community Hospice in Thomasville, NC.
