Nancy Jane Byrd

Dunn, NC: Ms. Nancy Jane Byrd, age 79, of Dunn passed away on Sunday, October 16, at Betsy Johnson Hospital, surrounded by her loving family. Graveside Services will be 3:00PM-Thursday, October 20, 2022 at Byrd Family Cemetery in Angier. Rev. Bob Johnson will officiate.

Ms. Byrd was born on November 4, 1942 in Johnston County to the late Rebecca Byrd. She was preceded in death by her husband of 49 years, Raeford Byrd, and a sister, Linda Baker.

Surviving includes her children, Glenda Byrd and husband, Raymond East of Fayetteville, Diane Valor and husband, Felimon of Angier, Ronald Lee Byrd, Sr. of Angier, Donald Ray Byrd, Sr. and girlfriend, Kathryn Coins of Angier, Bobby Daniel Byrd of Clinton, and Veronica Mejia and husband, Michael of Coats; sister, Rebecca Brown and husband, Jimmy; brother-in-law, Marvin Baker; fifteen grandchildren, twenty-nine great-grandchildren and one great-great granddaughter.

Family will receive friends from 1:45PM to 2:45PM on Thursday, October 20, 2022 at the Rose and Graham Funeral Home in Coats.
