N. Mitchell Hudson

Benson, NC:  Mr. Newit Mitchell Hudson, age 69, of 9869 Strickland’s Crossroads Road died Sunday, January 27, 2013, at his residence. Funeral Service will be 11:00AM Wednesday, January 30, 2013, at Banner Chapel Advent Christian Church. Officiating will be Rev. Glenn Fell and Pastor Tom Wagoner.  Burial will follow in the Church Cemetery. Mr. Hudson was born April 6, 1943 in Johnston County to Ila Bell Benson Hudson of Benson and the late James Woodrow Hudson.  He was a retired supervisor for Asplundh Tree Expert Company for 44 years and was a member of Banner Chapel Advent Christian Church. Surviving, in addition to his mother, are Wife of 50 years, Gilda Raynor Hudson; Daughter & Son-in-law, Connie H. & Ronnie K. Allen of Four Oaks; Son & Daughter-in-law, Mike & Sharon B. Hudson of Dunn; Grandsons, Colby James Allen and Michael Ryan Allen; Sisters, Brenda Kay Norris of Coats, Ila Bernice McLamb of Benson, Edith Faye Caudle of Four Oaks, and Janice Carolyn Allen of Benson; Brothers, Sherwood Hudson of Benson, Shelton D. Hudson of SC, and J. R. Hudson of Newton Grove; and many nieces and nephews. The family will receive friends at Rose & Graham Funeral Home in Benson from 6:00PM to 8:00PM Tuesday, January 29, 2013.
