Odis Johnson

Benson, NC:  Mr. Odis Delma Johnson, age 76, of 331 Helms Dogwood Road died Sunday, September 15, 2019 surrounded by his loving family at Wake Medical Center in Raleigh.  Funeral Service will be 3:00PM Wednesday, September 18, 2019 at Rose & Graham Funeral Chapel in Benson, NC.  Officiating will be his daughter, Connie Bass and Rev. Glenn McCullen. Burial will follow in Roselawn Cemetery in Benson.               Mr. Johnson was born on October 1, 1942 in Johnston County to the late Delma and Amanda Ellen Hudson Johnson. He was preceded in death by his first wife, Linda Sue McLamb Johnson and sisters, Martha Faircloth and Becky Dunn. Mr. Johnson owned and operated Johnson Family Produce at the North Carolina State Farmer's Market in Raleigh and was a member of Unity Advent Christian Church.              Surviving include his wife, Barbara Johnson; children, Connie J. Bass and husband, Connie, Rhonda Allen and Alan Johnson and wife, Wendy all of Benson; seven grandchildren;  one great-grandchild; step-children, John Johnson and wife, Lisa of Newton Grove and Annette Johnson of Wilmington; six step-grandchildren; two step-great-grandchildren; sister, Dorothy Fann of Clayton; brother and sister-in-law, Earl and Annette Johnson of Fayetteville; several nieces and nephews.             The family will  receive friends 6:00 PM - 8:00 PM Tuesday, September 17, 2019, at Rose & Graham Funeral Home in Benson and other times at the home.               Flowers are welcomed; however, memorials may be made to Benson Fire Department, 313 South Elm Street, Benson, NC 27504.
