Oliver "Pete" Ennis

Benson, NC:    Mr. Oliver J. "Pete" Ennis, age 69, of 416 Chic Ennis Road died Friday at the SECU Hospice House in Smithfield.  Memorial Services will be 11:00AM Monday, August 13, 2018 at Ebenezer Presbyterian Church, Coats, NC.  Officiating will be Rev. Jason Hammersley                Mr. Ennis was born July 10, 1949 in Harnett County to the late Oliver B. "Chic" and Lela Reardon Ennis.  Mr. Ennis worked 28 years with Southeastern Telephone Company, 10 years with Dixie Denning and after retirement, with Liberty Commons Nursing & Rehabilitation Center.  He was a member of Ebenezer Presbyterian Church where he served as an Elder and in many other capacities.             Surviving are wife of 24 years, Vickie Wood Ennis; sons & daughters-in-law, Steven Keith Capps and Lindsay Jackson of Garner and Anthony Reed and April Capps of Benson; grandchildren, Kyle Capps, Kayleigh Capps, Paisley Capps, Skylar Capps and Jace Capps; and several nieces and nephews.             Family will receive friends in the church fellowship hall following the memorial service and other times at the home.             In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to Ebenezer Presbyterian Church, c/o Debbie Bryce, P.O.
